3-Tone Sunburst on Alder

By 1961, Fender solved the issue with the fading of the red band in the 3-tone sunbursts on alder by using a pigment base.  This production change further evolved the look of the sunburst.

Matching the original versions, we use pigments to provide the red tint to this color band.

This version retains the dark chocolate brown edges and sides, and a glowing yellow center.  In contrast, the 1961-1963 3-tone sunburst has a distinct red band with less transition than the previous version.
